BUZZ OFF
BUZZ OFF™ Insect Shield Insect Repellent Apparel is the first
insect-repellent clothing to be registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. To gain this approval, BUZZ OFF apparel underwent rigorous testing and review. No other insect-repellent clothing has gained EPA approval.
Wearing BUZZ OFF apparel reduces the need to apply
insect-repellent creams, lotions or sprays directly to the skin. Although topical insect repellents may be effective, especially those containing DEET, many consumers are wary of overuse. In addition, applying repellents to the skin can be messy and frequent re-application is a hassle.
For years, die-hard hunters, anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts have applied permethrin, DEET and other repellents to their clothes to fend off mosquitoes and other insects. This remedy can work, but is not long-lasting, requires repeat application and may result in the overuse of repellent. Wearing BUZZ OFF apparel is the ideal alternative.
Health professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and the general population are increasingly concerned about diseases carried by insects. BUZZ OFF apparel repels mosquitoes, including those that can carry West Nile Virus, and ticks, including those that can carry Lyme disease.
